What to Expect

When you come to Beacon Hill, you will find normal people who are trying to help build each other up. You will find imperfect people that just want to experience Jesus. Don’t worry about traditions; we have everything from blue jeans to button downs. Come and see what Jesus is doing; we can’t wait to meet you!

Connect

Hey! We are so excited that you would like to connect deeper with us; the first step is just to come and see what God is doing here at Beacon Hill.

If you are looking to deepen your connection with us, the next step is partnering with us. Our goal is that when you join with us, we partner together to build each other into the best followers of Christ that we can be. Want to partner with us? Awesome, sign up for a lunch with the Pastors, where you can learn everything you need to know, like what we believe (also shown below), how/why we do ministry, how you can serve at Beacon Hill, etc. If you would like more info, reach out to leadpastor@beaconhillcheyenne.com.

What We Believe

Scripture

We believe the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the verbally and plenarily inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed and are, therefore, the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man.

The Godhead

We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God (an infinite, intelligent Spirit) the maker and supreme ruler of heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in holiness and worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love; that in unity of the Godhead there are three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.

The Person and Work of Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice, and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe that all sins, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, are forgivable. We believe in God’s electing grace; that the blessings of salvation are made free to all by the gospel that it is the immediate duty of all to accept them by a cordial, penitent and obedient faith; and that nothing prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner on earth but their own inherent depravity and voluntary rejection of the gospel; which rejection involves him in an aggravated condemnation.
